- Welcoming classrooms that encourage children to explore and learn through play.
- Staff that goes above and beyond to work with and care for your child.
- Open lines of communication that are reinforced through conferences, newsletters and daily activity reports.
- Age appropriate curriculum that seeks to allow every child to have success in education and development.
Our individual program pages will allow you to further explore your child’s classroom:

Toddler Program back to top
Our Toddler Program is based on the belief that children learn best through play and discovery. That is why our toddler room is always a bustle of activity. However, beneath all of the movement, is a structured program that fosters development in the areas toddlers need most: gross motor, fine motor, language, social/emotional, and cognitive. Our staff and curriculum engage children in active and dramatic learning that enhances their creativity and imagination.

Each week our entire center focuses on a theme, around which our daily activities revolve. This theme allows toddlers to explore based on the familiar, while also discovering new ideas and concepts. We integrate this theme center-wide and throughout the day in various ways and formats to allow all children success in learning.
Preschool Program back to top
RiverStone’s Preschool program incorporates the Creative Curriculum approach, pre-kindergarten skills, and the idea that every child can achieve success, into every aspect of the day. Our exceptional staff and classroom environment seek to aid preschoolers in the basic concepts of language, math and science, while also developing their expanding gross and fine motor skills. We are not only preparing preschoolers for school, we are primarily promoting a love and engagement with education for a life time of learning.

We utilize a center-wide weekly theme that exposes preschoolers to new concepts and ideas, while also integrating basic skills in counting, letters, writing, math, and science. Literacy is a main component in our program, since much of learning develops from reading, writing and exploring our world through letters and words. All children deserve an equal start and our program works to set up every child for success.
School Age Programs back to top
After School Care: RiverStone provides pick up services for children from the Warrensburg Elementary School and transports them to our center, in order to provide a safe, fun, and enriching after school option for your family. School Age children are given a variety of choices that allow them independence and a chance to unwind at their own pace. Snack, board games, centers, homework assistance, and an art activity are all set out for children to participate in, as well as engaging in outdoor play. Our School Age Staff provides assistance with homework and activities and seeks to create an environment in which children can feel comfortable and relaxed after a long school day.
Full Day Care: During vacations, RiverStone offers full day care for school age children. Our program follows a weekly theme, where school agers can maintain their school skills and develop new ideas and concepts revolving around their interests and lives.
